Tammy was SO helpful to me as I began my training as Career Services Advisor at the Art Institute of Charleston. Even though she was at another campus, she assisted me by creating training materials designed to guide me through some of the CSA processes, as well as continued to follow up on my progress and success. Tammy and I have a long history of working together under different sets of circumstances. As an exemplary student of mine at one time, she was instrumental in motivating me to finish a book project that I often talked about in class.

I am grateful to have known Tammy McGriff and to have had her support during a tumultuous change process at The Art Institute of Jacksonville. She was an anchor of excellence as we maintained our goal of service to our students despite the choppy seas of new directives and reduction in resources that was 2 1/2 years of closing down our campus. Students saw Tammy as a valuable resource. In fact, I had to send her home to work one day a week in order to get necessary paperwork completed without the emotional demands of students who wanted to chat in her office.
She was responsible for creating our major event each quarter, called Portfolio Show. This event was on par with a graduation ceremony for its meaning to our students. She maintained quality to the end, vowing that our final group of students would feel no less served than when we were a growing campus. I am so grateful for her positive energy and her unwavering service.
